Adjust the part or whole of the system so that the Rivers of Life may flow in and irrigate the famishing fields. ~Dr. A. T. Still, founder of Osteopathy

Headache, Migraine and Concussion

Dr. Rosen treats many patients with headaches and migraines, as well as the effects of concussion, head trauma, dental trauma, and traumatic brain injury. While there are many factors in these common problems, Osteopathy is typically very helpful to reduce the severity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms, and in some cases, resolves them entirely. While drugs are just treating the symptoms, Dr. Rosen can help the body heal the underlying causes with gentle Cranial Osteopathy.

Especially when a patient is managing trauma, once medically stabilized and evaluated, the sooner is the better to initiate Osteopathic treatment. Dr. Rosen will tailor the treatment both in terms of technical approach and gentle force based on how acute the trauma is and what is medically appropriate at that time. Treatment can occur simultaneously while other rehabilitation, treatment, physical/occupational therapy, or extensive work up is progressing. As physicians, Osteopaths are uniquely appropriate to combine hands on treatment in conjunction with other medical care.

Contact Dr. Rosen’s office if you have any question or concerns in regard to your unique situation.
